Can't sleep. Not even a lick. It might have something to do with the 80-something ounces of Coca-Cola I consumed on Friday. Who knows?
Anyhoo, I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Al Muskewitz is a funny guy. He's always making cracks, renaming things. His latest got a song stuck in my head.
He told me the other night he needed two scores to finish his work on page 2C.
"What are they," I asked.
"Hey Jude and Sunshine Go Away Today," he said.
Being that I am well versed in Musky-talk, I knew he meant --- St. Jude and Sunshine. And since I'd never heard the song "Sunshine Go Away Today" (I have heard "Ain't No Sunshine ..."), it didn't get stuck in my head. However, I know "Hey Jude", and it got stuck in my gourd like peanut butter in the roof of a dog's mouth.
Being that I've been singing it for almost 48 hours (Tuesday and Wednesday it was "Nobody" by Keith Sweat), it made me think of one of my favorite videos on all of YouTube.com.
Ladies and Germs, I give you "Small child doing Beatles covers." If you don't think this is cute, you got problems.
